Thoughts and a Severed Soul

Last week Stephen shared with us the excitement of being a part of YGG and how we honor the tradition of storytelling. My friend, Jennifer Grace, has written a poetry book. She types out and puts together by hand these books to share her story. Her written words are very powerful and I can feel myself in many of her poems. As a collaborative effort, I wrote my thoughts that her work provoked in me in the margins. Over the next three days, we will be sharing one poem from each section of her book.Just as it states at the beginning of the book, there is space in the margins for reflection.
